Gwangju Dong-gu (District Mayor Lim Taek) announced on the 20th that it will introduce a tourism program called "Dongne Life," which allows visitors to stay in Dong-gu for a certain period and participate in various activities, through the smart tourism platform "Gwangju Art Pass."

Dongne Life is a stay-type tourism program that provides up to a 30% discount (up to 20,000 KRW per night) when booking and staying at accommodations in Gwangju Dong-gu for two nights or more.

Until last year, the Dongne Life program was operated through a separate website, but starting from January this year, it has been managed on the "Gwangju Art Pass" platform to unify and vitalize Gwangju’s tourism platforms.

The accommodations participating in the Dongne Life discount include 11 establishments such as tourist hotels in Dong-gu that signed a tourism activation MOU with Dong-gu last year (Hotel Artheim, Ramada Plaza Chungjang Hotel, Mudeung Park Hotel, Culture Hotel Ram, etc.), as well as Sansu Yeoro, Dongmyeong Hanok Joeunnal, Culture Hotel Ram, Jangmiok, Yuyuhan, Oasita, and Business Hotel Dew.

To celebrate the integration of the Dongne Life program into the Gwangju Art Pass platform, Dong-gu is holding an event to give away 100 chickens to new members who sign up by the 31st.

District Mayor Lim Taek said, "Dong-gu plans to showcase all tourism elements through the smart tourism platform Gwangju Art Pass," and added, "We hope tourists will stay in Dong-gu and enjoy unique tourism content such as gourmet tours and alleyway tours that can only be experienced in Gwangju."
