Gwangju City Expands Designation of Affordable Price Businesses from 34 to 54

Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Bang Se-hwan) announced on the 20th that it will expand the number of Good Price Businesses from the existing 34 to 54 this year to stabilize prices and revitalize the local economy.

Good Price Businesses are selected based on certain criteria such as price, quality, and hygiene, targeting personal service businesses closely related to the daily lives of ordinary people, including dining, beauty salons, and laundry services.


The application period is open year-round, and applicants can visit the City Hall's Regional Economy Division to fill out an application form with business and Good Price menu information and submit it along with their business registration certificate.


Gwangju City designates the final Good Price Businesses through document evaluation and on-site assessment, and various incentive support benefits are provided.


The budget for incentives supporting Good Price Businesses is 46 million KRW, which will be used to provide consumables for improving customer convenience and hygiene standards.


Mayor Bang Se-hwan said, "We will strive to help the difficult economic situation by expanding Good Price Businesses that support the livelihood economy," and added, "We ask for the interest and participation of business owners."
