This event was organized to celebrate the successful completion of the exhibition improvement project carried out over two years since 2023, and to commemorate the reopening of the permanent exhibition hall, which was refurbished with new content by reorganizing the aging exhibits.

The event held on the 18th at the Changwon Science Experience Center featured a commemorative ceremony along with a science celebration performance, science-making experience activities, and traditional folk game activities applying scientific principles, receiving great responses from children and parents.

The permanent exhibition hall was newly reorganized into the Basic Science Hall and the Advanced Science Hall through this exhibition environment improvement project. The Basic Science Hall is themed "Earth's Energy" and consists of Earth Science, Physics, and Chemistry zones. The Advanced Science Hall is themed "Mysteries of Life" and is composed of Life Science, Energy Science, and Robot zones.

Additionally, differentiated concepts were applied to each theme to create an environment where visitors can more easily understand the exhibition content, thereby enhancing its educational value.

A parent who participated in the event shared, "It was a valuable time where children could directly experience the newly renovated exhibition hall and various hands-on exhibits, making learning science more interesting."

Jang Geum-yong, the First Deputy Mayor, said, "Through this exhibition content improvement, the Changwon Science Experience Center is expected to establish itself not just as a space introducing science, but as a science education hub of Changwon Special City," adding, "I am pleased that it will develop into a creative and innovative learning space where children and youth can cultivate scientific thinking skills."
