The Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute was selected as the best company to work for by current employees.
Based on cumulative reviews from current employees up to the end of last year, the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute ranked first in the 'Top 10 Best Companies to Work For' (out of 5 points; in case of a tie, the company with more reviews ranks higher). According to a survey by Jinhaksa Catch, the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute scored 4.5 points, securing the overall first place. This surpassed Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, which are known as prestigious workplaces.

The Atomic Energy Research Institute particularly showed high satisfaction with a score of 4.7 in the salary and welfare category. Since 2019, the Research Institute has adopted a 'selective working hours system' for all job categories. Employees can use annual leave in 15-minute increments or even take annual leave allocated for the following year in advance. HR tech company Incruit analyzed the starting salaries of new employees at 146 public institutions using the directory book provided at the '2024 Public Institution Recruitment Information Fair.' The starting salary for new employees at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute is 52.53 million KRW, which is comparable to Samsung Electronics' starting salary of 50.46 million KRW.

This recognition was given for establishing a talent database (DB) that any applicant can register in advance, strengthening the pre-verification process of disqualification relationships between applicants and reviewers, and efforts to hire people with disabilities and vulnerable groups through easy-to-understand and audible recruitment announcements.
