The Damyang-gun Volunteer Organization Council in Jeonnam announced on the 18th that it held its 2025 regular general meeting on the 17th at the Sigyeongjeong Room of the county office, with about 30 representatives from volunteer organizations in attendance.

At the general meeting, Seo Myungwon was elected as the new president, and last year's business and accounting settlements as well as amendments to the articles of association were carried out.

In his greeting, Seo Myungwon stated, "I will strengthen cooperation so that the solidarity among volunteer organizations can become even stronger," and added, "I will do my best so that volunteers who serve to create a warmer Damyang can feel joy and fulfillment."

At the meeting, participants also shared last year's achievements, exchanged new opinions among organizations to explore new directions for volunteer activities in the coming year, and pledged to further enhance the importance and value of volunteer work and to collaborate more closely.

Meanwhile, the Volunteer Center currently has 14,854 registered volunteers, who are engaged in a variety of activities including improving residential environments, environmental protection, and enhancing daily convenience.
