HD Hyundai Oilbank announced on the 17th that it held a ceremony to deliver heating oil support for residents in the Seosan area of Chungnam during the winter season.
The total support amounts to approximately 200 million KRW and will be delivered to 452 locations, including senior centers and social welfare facilities within Seosan City.
About ten people attended the ceremony held at the Seosan City Welfare Foundation, including representatives from the Seosan City Welfare Foundation, HD Hyundai Oilbank, and the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea.
Since 2005, HD Hyundai Oilbank has been providing heating oil support for a warm winter to senior centers and other facilities near its Daesan plant.
A representative from HD Hyundai Oilbank said, "Many people must have faced difficulties due to the sudden cold wave following the prolonged heat," and added, "With the recent issuance of cold wave advisories and the ongoing severe cold, we hope our neighbors can stay warm this winter."
