Since February 2023, starting with Korean history lecturer Choi Tae-seong, the Busan Office of Education has been operating various workplace education programs every month by inviting prominent figures from various fields such as broadcaster Lee Geum-hee, table tennis coach Hyun Jung-hwa, conductor Geum Nan-sae, and broadcaster Tyler Rasch.
This cultural event was organized as the first workplace education program of 2025 to understand the history of Korea's independence movement through watching "Harbin" and to foster patriotism, aiming to strengthen the mindset of public officials.
Choi Yoon-hong, Acting Superintendent of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, said, "I thank all the employees who are tirelessly working in their respective positions for the development of Busan education," adding, "I hope this cultural event will be a meaningful time to reflect on the life of An Jung-geun, honor the patriotic martyrs, and enhance the employees' knowledge and creative job performance abilities."
