As of 9:35 a.m. on the 17th, the KOSPI recorded 2,520.21, down 7.28 points (0.29%) from the previous trading day.


By investor type, foreigners and institutions are net selling 125.6 billion KRW and 93.3 billion KRW, respectively. On the other hand, individuals are net buying 216.6 billion KRW.


By industry sector, transportation equipment and parts, and pharmaceuticals are down more than 1%. Meanwhile, machinery equipment, entertainment culture, and electric and gas sectors are slightly rising.


Among the top market capitalization stocks, Samsung Electronics traded at 53,600 KRW, down 700 KRW (1.29%) from the previous trading day. Hyundai Motor, Kia, and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries are down more than 2%, while Samsung Biologics, KB Financial, NAVER, and Hyundai Mobis are down more than 1%.


The KOSDAQ recorded 724.45, up 0.21 points (0.03%) from the previous trading day.


By investor type, foreigners net sold 45.2 billion KRW. Meanwhile, individuals and institutions net bought 46.8 billion KRW and 5.6 billion KRW, respectively.


By industry sector, entertainment culture rose 1.19%, with non-metal, machinery equipment, and electric and electronic sectors slightly up. Conversely, pharmaceuticals, transportation equipment, medical precision, and distribution sectors are declining.


Among the top market capitalization stocks, Alteogen traded at 308,000 KRW, down 4,000 KRW (1.28%) from the previous trading day. Hugel is down 2.51%, and HLB, Rainbow Robotics, and Rigachem Bio are down more than 1%. On the other hand, HPSP rose 6.26%, and Rino Industries rose 4.52%.
