"Heungyanggwan" was created to support the stable housing settlement of new public officials, with a project cost of 908 million KRW used to purchase the former KT company housing in Namgye-ri, Goheung-eup, and to carry out a full renovation. It is the first public officials' apartment complex in Goheung-gun to be equipped with home appliances and furniture for the convenience of its residents.

The building has four floors above ground, with a total of eight units. Each unit includes two bedrooms, a living room with kitchen, bathroom, veranda, and boiler room, providing a pleasant and comfortable living environment that is expected to increase user satisfaction.

A total of 16 employees were selected as residents. They will begin moving in from the 16th, right after the ceremony, and will be able to live in the apartments for two years at an affordable rent.

Song Byungjun, who spoke as the representative of the residents, said, "I am truly grateful to have the opportunity to move into the staff apartment, as I had to commute from my family home due to high rent. I will work hard to become a public official who can contribute to the development of Goheung-gun in a stable environment."

In his commemorative speech, Governor Gong Youngmin stated, "We will continue to expand public officials' apartments so that our new employees can reduce their housing costs and settle down stably in the region. We will do our best to ensure that Goheung-gun public officials can take pride in their work and contribute to the happiness of residents and the development of the region through not only housing welfare but also various employee benefits."
