Dangjin City, Chungnam Province, announced on the 16th that it is accepting applications for the '2025 Apartment Complex Management Support Project' until the 7th of next month.

This year, the city plans to alleviate residents' concerns by preventing electric vehicle fires and to prioritize support for small-scale, aging apartment complexes that are vulnerable to disasters and safety issues, aiming to improve the environment of apartment complexes to be more pleasant and safe.

The eligible recipients are apartment complexes (apartments, row houses, and multi-family housing) that have been completed for more than 10 years and have not received support within the last three years.

To prevent fires at electric vehicle charging facilities in underground parking lots, the city plans to provide various support measures such as relocating facilities above ground, installing partition walls, and installing fire detection equipment, depending on the conditions of each complex.

The total project budget is 1.4 billion KRW, with subsidies ranging from a minimum of 10 million KRW to a maximum of 60 million KRW per complex, depending on the number of households. The self-funding rate is between 5% and 20% of the project cost.

For details such as required documents, please refer to the notices and announcements board on the Dangjin City website or the Apartment Complex Sarangbang.

A city official said, "For small-scale apartment complexes, if you contact the Apartment Complex Team at the Dangjin City Housing Development Division, a staff member will visit and provide guidance in person," adding, "We look forward to the interest and participation of many citizens."
