Dongducheon-si Opens Applications for 'Local Autonomous Social Services' in the First Half of This Year

Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 16th that it will accept applications for the 2025 first half regional autonomous social services from February 3 to 14, for a period of 10 days.

Regional autonomous social services are services provided to improve welfare and quality of life in various fields such as welfare, healthcare, education, housing, culture, and environment, tailored to the characteristics and needs of the local community for residents in need.

The fields open for recruitment in the first half of this year include four services: Our Child Psychological Support Service, Child Emotional Development Support Service, Rental Service for Assistive Devices for the Disabled, and Massage Service for the Visually Impaired.

If selected as a beneficiary, vouchers rather than cash will be issued, allowing users to directly choose the service and provider to receive high-quality social services.

Applicants must meet income, age, and demand criteria specific to each project, and detailed requirements can be found on the city hall website. Applications for social services can be submitted at the administrative welfare center of the resident registration district, the Bokjiro website, or the mobile Bokjiro app.

Meanwhile, Dongducheon City plans to complete user selection and notification within February, and social services can be used from March 1, 2025, until the end of February 2026.
