Yeosu City Holds 10th SNS Supporters Launch Ceremony

25 Appointed to Maximize City Administration Promotion

Yeosu City, Jeonnam (Mayor Chung Kimyung) announced on the 16th that it had appointed 25 members as the 10th SNS Supporters and held a launching ceremony at Hotel Matthieu on the morning of the 15th.

The launching ceremony was attended by about 30 people, including Mayor Chung Kimyung, selected SNS Supporters, and related public officials. The event proceeded with the awarding of appointment certificates, a conversation with the supporters, and capacity-building training.

Starting with the launching ceremony, the SNS Supporters will be responsible for creating and promoting content related to Yeosu city administration for one year across four channels: Facebook, Instagram, blogs, and YouTube.

The city plans to regularly provide information by field through "Supporters Day (joint coverage activities)" to ensure timely promotion of city policies and festivals, and will assign a "Supporters Mission (coverage topic)" each month to encourage active participation.

Mayor Chung Kimyung said, "As we are at a crucial point with a year and a half left until the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo, I hope you will fully demonstrate your capabilities and take the lead in communicating with citizens and promoting the region."

Meanwhile, Yeosu City publicly recruited SNS Supporters from among citizens last December, selecting participants from a wide range of age groups and professions, from their 20s to their 60s.
