20 Million KRW Donated
to Support Low-Income and Vulnerable Groups
Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 16th that it received a donation of 20 million KRW from Shinsegae Simon Paju Premium Outlets on the 15th to support low-income vulnerable groups in the area.

At the donation ceremony, Jang Yoon-seok, the store manager of Shinsegae Simon Paju Premium Outlets, and related officials attended.
The donated funds will be used through the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest to stabilize the basic living conditions of low-income residents facing economic difficulties and to support various welfare projects.
Store manager Jang Yoon-seok said, “I hope this sponsorship will help neighbors in need as they welcome the New Year 2025,” and added, “We will continue to practice the value of sharing through various social contribution activities and strive for the mutual development of the local community.”
Kim Eun-sook, Director of the Welfare Policy Bureau, expressed gratitude, saying, “We thank Shinsegae Simon Paju Premium Outlets for their warm donation, which will be a great support for neighbors in need as they start the New Year,” and added, “The donated funds will be carefully used where help is needed.”
Since its opening in 2011, Shinsegae Simon Paju Premium Outlets has actively engaged in social contribution activities such as supporting marginalized groups, organizing kimchi-making events, hosting local cultural events, and sponsoring related organizations. Last year, it also donated 20 million KRW to support low-income groups in the region.
