The recruitment targets are corporations or non-profit organizations with an understanding of and expertise in the district's job projects. The types of projects open for application are divided into information technology (IT) fields such as big data and artificial intelligence (AI), and other general vocational skill development training courses.
Interested organizations can apply through the Local Subsidy Management System (Botaem-e) by 6 PM on the 24th of this month. Only online applications are accepted; in-person or postal submissions are not allowed.
The budget allocation criteria are 20% for personnel expenses, 65% for direct project expenses (materials, rental fees, actual expenses, etc.), and 15% for indirect project expenses (promotion costs, etc.). The evaluation process consists of three stages (document review, qualitative evaluation, subsidy review), assessing project eligibility, feasibility, and regional suitability. The selection results will be announced at the end of February, and the selected projects will operate from March to December.
In particular, the district plans to actively discover educational training programs that are expected to enhance expertise and increase job demand to facilitate smooth employment connections. Detailed information can be found on the Yongsan-gu Office website and in the announcement on the Local Subsidy Management System (Botaem-e).
District Mayor Park Hee-young stated, "We have prepared a customized vocational education and training platform to provide practical help for employment," adding, "We will strive to ensure that this project leads to successful employment for many residents."
Meanwhile, last year, the district invested 203 million KRW in the public-private partnership job project to operate programs such as training professional instructors for silver programs, AI-based digital marketer training, New Life, senior model expert training, air conditioner installation and maintenance technician training, and system air conditioner cleaning management courses. A total of 91 residents completed the courses, and among them, 67 succeeded in finding employment, achieving an employment rate of 73.6%.
