On the morning of the 15th, President Yoon Suk-yeol reportedly greeted his pet dog Tori and made sandwiches to give to his lawyers just before being arrested on charges of 'leading a rebellion.'

Yoon Sang-hyun, a member of the People Power Party, said in a phone call with the far-right YouTube channel Goseongguk TV that "President Yoon went to bed at 1 a.m. and woke up around 2:30 a.m. after receiving a phone call. The lawyers also slept at the presidential residence, and he said he made 10 sandwiches in the morning to distribute to the legal team." He added, "I wondered how he could remain so composed." It was said that when the arrest was imminent, President Yoon said, "I will go see my pet dog Tori," went upstairs to the room where the dog was, spent about 10 minutes there, and then came back down.

Before the arrest, President Yoon reportedly spoke with People Power Party lawmakers and non-affiliated district committee chairpersons who visited his residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, in the reception room. Lawmaker Yoon, who witnessed the execution of the arrest warrant on site, said, "Some people were crying and bowing deeply, and President Yoon patted their backs." He also said, "First Lady Kim Keon-hee has been deeply shocked by recent events and has had difficulty getting up."

President Yoon also advised People Power Party lawmakers to watch 'YouTube' more often instead of newspapers or broadcasts, and reportedly asked them to "help with the reestablishment of the administration."
