The AI Innovation Convergence College Project Group at Yeungjin College (Director Kim Jong-gyu) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mongolian Monghan Polytechnic University for global talent development and academic exchange. This agreement is expected to open a new horizon for international cooperation between Korea and Mongolia.
The signing ceremony was held on the afternoon of the 15th at the conference room of Yeungjin College Bokhyeon Campus in Buk-gu, Daegu. Attendees included Project Director Kim Jong-gyu, Director Jeon Sang-pyo of the International Exchange Center, and Department Head Lim Deok-seong of the Computer Information Department. From Monghan Polytechnic University, President Erdene Tumendemberel and others attended, adding significance to the agreement.

Through this agreement, both universities have agreed to cooperate in a wide range of areas including nurturing outstanding talent, promoting student and academic-cultural exchanges, and jointly developing online courses in artificial intelligence and IT.
Monghan Polytechnic University, established in 1966, is a leading technical university in Mongolia located in Hangol District, Ulaanbaatar. In 2000, it was designated as the "Mongolia-Korea Technical University" with support from Korea, and approximately 2,000 students major in various fields such as light industry, construction, automotive, electrical engineering, and IT.
Project Director Kim Jong-gyu said, "This agreement is an opportunity for both institutions to combine their strengths and grow together," adding, "We will create an innovative educational model in the fields of artificial intelligence and IT."
President Erdene Tumendemberel expressed expectations, saying, "A platform has opened for Mongolia and Korea to strengthen educational cooperation. We will enhance educational collaboration so that outstanding talents from both countries can thrive on the global stage."
Yeungjin College plans to accelerate the expansion of its global education network and the cultivation of talent to lead the digital transformation era through this agreement. Monghan Polytechnic University is also actively presenting a new model of global education through trust and cooperation between universities by strengthening academic and cultural ties with Korea.
