AmCham Explores AI-Based Cybersecurity Strategies with Palo Alto Networks

Held at Chosun Palace Hotel on the 14th
"Comprehensive Strategies and Capacity Building Needed"

The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM) announced on the 15th that it held an event on the 14th at the Chosun Palace Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, together with the cybersecurity solutions company Palo Alto Networks to explore AI-based cybersecurity strategies.

This event was part of Palo Alto Networks' "Ignite On Tour" program. It was organized to discuss how AI is transforming the landscape of the digital world.


In a presentation titled "Reimagining Cybersecurity Insights for a Safe AI Era," Park Sang-gyu, Head of Palo Alto Networks Korea, diagnosed that "companies worldwide stand at a crossroads of AI innovation and need comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and capacity building to adapt to the changing digital environment."


During the panel session, James Kim, AMCHAM Chairman and CEO, served as the moderator and led discussions on maintaining competitiveness using AI and how cybersecurity drives innovation.


Chairman James Kim said, "This event highlights the necessity to rethink how to protect organizations and society amid increasingly sophisticated cyber threats from a new perspective," adding, "We will strengthen cooperation not only between Korea and the United States but also among the global community."
