Completed Global IR Program in Japan and Singapore

On the 15th, video processing artificial intelligence (AI) startup MayAI announced that it has been selected for the ‘Global IR’ program of the Baby Unicorn Nurturing Project, hosted by the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, accelerating its global expansion.

The Global Investor Relations (IR) program selects 10 companies with high potential for entry into three regions?United States (New York, Silicon Valley), Asia (Singapore, Japan), and Europe?from among those chosen as Baby Unicorns in the 2024 Global Unicorn Project. It provides networking opportunities with local investors to help strengthen their global competitiveness.

MayAI was selected for the Asia region and participated in the nine-day Global IR program held in Japan and Singapore last November. Additionally, having been selected for the U.S. West Coast (Silicon Valley) region, it plans to complete the same program over five days in Silicon Valley at the end of this month.

The Global IR program consists of sessions such as ‘Investment Consultation,’ which offers one-on-one meetings with local venture capitalists (VCs) preferred by participating companies; ‘Investment IR,’ which provides opportunities to attract overseas investment from global VCs; and ‘Networking’ sessions that facilitate communication with local investors and Korean startup founders.

MayAI is a startup that develops and operates the video processing AI solution ‘mAsh.’ It utilizes CCTV installed in offline spaces to analyze visitor data, presents key performance indicators (KPIs) tailored to each store, and provides insights to help efficiently manage offline spaces. Leveraging its proprietary technological competitiveness, mAsh has secured major domestic corporations such as Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, and CGV as clients.

Through this program, MayAI has been internationally recognized for its innovative business model and growth potential. It plans to accelerate its global expansion so that overseas stores with high demand for visitor analysis can make data-driven decisions using mAsh.

Junhyuk Park, CEO of MayAI, stated, “We will actively utilize the various support, including networks with overseas VCs secured through this program, to rapidly strengthen our capabilities for global expansion.”
