Samsung Electronics Targets Hotel TV Market with 'The Frame'

Samsung Electronics announced on the 15th that it will target the hotel TV market with its 'Art TV,' The Frame.


'The Frame' (model name: HL03F) features an 'Art Mode' that displays artworks such as paintings and photos even when the power is off, along with a bezel in the form of a picture frame and a slim-fit wall-mounted design.


The 'Art Mode' automatically adjusts the brightness and color tone of the content according to the lighting environment, creating a gallery-like atmosphere in everyday spaces. Hotel managers can use 'Art Mode' to customize the ambiance of the space to their liking.

Samsung Electronics will support wireless content sharing technologies 'Google Cast' and 'Apple AirPlay' on all 2025 hotel TV models. Hotel guests can seamlessly enjoy content from their smartphones or tablets on the room’s TV screen by scanning a QR code displayed on the TV. No separate dongle or login procedure is required, and information about connected devices is automatically deleted upon room checkout to protect personal information.


Additionally, Samsung Electronics has unified the operating system of its 2025 hotel TVs to Tizen 9.0 to enhance operational efficiency. It provides customized solutions for integrated device management, such as the hotel TV dedicated unified solution 'LYNK Cloud' and the B2B integrated connection platform 'SmartThings Pro.'


Jung Hoon, Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, said, "Hotel TVs in 2025 will contribute to providing differentiated stay experiences through more advanced personalized experiences. We will lead the global hotel TV market with differentiated products and solutions, including the newly introduced The Frame for hotel TVs."
