Collecting Relics Related to the Korean War
During the Korean War on June 25, the patriotic region of Chilgok-gun, Gyeongbuk, which overcame the life-threatening crisis on the edge of a cliff, is collecting relics to remember and not forget the pain of that day.
The Chilgok Patriotic Peace Memorial Hall (hereinafter referred to as the Memorial Hall) announced on the 14th that it is accepting donations of relics related to the Korean War for academic research and exhibition materials.

The Memorial Hall is a public museum established in Chilgok-gun, Gyeongbuk, to reexamine the Nakdong River defense line battle during the Korean War, and it collects various materials to cultivate patriotic security awareness and the spirit of love for the country.
Anyone, whether individuals or organizations, who possess relics related to the Korean War can apply for donation at any time throughout the year. The donated relics will be finally decided through the Memorial Hall’s preliminary relic collection evaluation and the relic evaluation committee’s review.
Kim Jae-wook, the governor of Chilgok-gun, said, “We look forward to meaningful participation so that visitors to the Memorial Hall can widely enjoy the value of these precious heritage through relic donations.”
