Gochang-gun Recruiting Participants for 'Local Community Job Project'

Applications accepted until the 17th... 19 job opportunities available

Gochang-gun, Jeollabuk-do is recruiting participants for the 2025 first half Regional Community Job Project.


According to the county on the 14th, this project has been prepared to help the economic independence of low-income and vulnerable groups and improve their quality of life. It is expected to contribute to the creation of local jobs.

The project consists of a total of eight initiatives (Local Specialty Studio, Industrial Complex Environmental Maintenance, Parking Order Establishment, Gochang Eupseong Revitalization, Multicultural Understanding Instructor, Family Center Childcare, Urban Park Aesthetics, Flower Garden Complex Development Project), and plans to provide jobs for 19 people.


Eligibility is for Gochang-gun residents aged 18 or older who are capable of working, belong to a vulnerable group with a household income at or below 60% of the median income, and own assets of 400 million KRW or less. Applications can be submitted at the local eup or myeon office according to the applicant's address.


In addition, priority will be given to young people aged 34 or younger who meet the income criteria, as well as low-income individuals, persons with disabilities, and long-term unemployed. Extra points will be given to employment protection beneficiaries, female heads of households, and marriage immigrants to increase their employment opportunities.


Participants under the age of 65 will work up to 40 hours per week, while those aged 65 and older will work up to 25 hours per week. Wages will be paid based on this year's minimum hourly wage (10,030 KRW), and a separate snack allowance of 5,000 KRW will be provided for each working day.


Hwang Minan, Director of the New Vitality Economic Policy Office, said, "This project supports low-income groups in covering living expenses and establishing a foundation for self-reliance, so we encourage many to participate. We will continue to discover various job projects that can help vulnerable groups achieve economic stability."
