Yangsan City Holds First Regular Meeting of the 2025 Association of Village Leaders

Sharing Key City Administration Plans and Local Economic Revitalization Policies

On the 13th, Yangsan City in Gyeongnam held the first regular meeting of the 2025 Neighborhood Leaders Association in the city hall's large conference room, attended by Yangsan Mayor Na Dong-yeon, provincial and city council members, and over 30 members of the Neighborhood Leaders Association.

At the regular meeting, the direction of city administration for this year was shared, and active cooperation from the Neighborhood Leaders Association was requested to ensure the successful hosting of the 2026 Yangsan Visit Year, planned to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the city's elevation.

In particular, the city shared with the Neighborhood Leaders Association members the key livelihood stabilization projects currently being implemented by the Livelihood Stabilization TF Promotion Team to support self-employed individuals and vulnerable groups facing difficulties.

Mayor Na Dong-yeon stated, “Amid recent national hardships and political turmoil, citizens and self-employed individuals are going through a harsh period of economic recession. Our city is prioritizing the stabilization of the livelihood economy in its policies, and since the help of the neighborhood leaders is urgently needed, I hope you will play a capillary role on the front lines of administration to revitalize the local economy.”
