Korea University of Technology and Education announced on the 14th that it unveiled its industry-academia cooperation AI technologies, 'AIComponent' and 'PARGOS', at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025.

'AIComponent', co-developed with Power Robotics, is software that automatically analyzes the type and size of components when a printed circuit board (PCB) is photographed with a smartphone.

Currently, it can quickly analyze information on more than 20 types of components and is expected to be applied to automatic quotation calculation and robot installation optimization.

'PARGOS', co-developed with Fine SNS, is a technology for safety management and autonomous driving of special vehicles such as forklifts and agricultural machinery.

PARGOS recognizes surrounding workers and vehicles to calculate collision risk and is equipped with warning and avoidance functions.

Kang Hyeongju, Deputy Director of the Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation, stated, "By presenting these achievements on the global stage, we were able to receive positive responses from visitors and gain new ideas," and added, "We will continue to strengthen cooperation with local companies to develop innovative technologies."
