Plunit-Saltlux-Techlabs Expand Fortune Market Horizons with Generative AI Technology

Generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology companies Flunit and Saltlux announced on the 14th that they have signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Techlabs to promote a video production business based on generative AI technology.

The signing ceremony held the day before at Saltlux headquarters was attended by key officials including Lee Kyung-il, CEO of Saltlux and Flunit, and Yoo Ji-heon, CEO of Techlabs. They agreed to mutually cooperate based on AI technology and content production capabilities and pursue joint benefits.

The video production business will be promoted by combining Flunit’s AI-based video generation technology with Techlabs’ accumulated data. The jointly produced New Year fortune and monthly zodiac fortune content will be supplied to the Btv Senior Channel serviced by SK Broadband.

Flunit is a subsidiary of Saltlux, a leading domestic AI company. It has been recognized for its technological prowess by receiving the Innovation Award at CES, the world’s largest information technology and electronics exhibition. It offers services such as the omnichannel AI employee platform ‘Flunit Work Center,’ the virtual human video generation platform ‘Flunit Studio,’ and the personal assistant application ‘Sonbiseo’.

Digital transformation company Techlabs operates ‘Jeomsin,’ the nation’s number one fortune-telling platform with a cumulative 17 million downloads. It offers traditional fortune-telling services such as Saju, physiognomy, and tarot readings, as well as hyper-personalized customized content covering overall lifestyle areas including fashion coordination, golf, real estate, and financial technology using AI.

Lee Kyung-il, CEO of Flunit, said, “Amid the rapid growth of the domestic fortune-telling market due to economic recession and political uncertainty, we are pleased to cooperate with Techlabs, which has established a unique position in this field. We will continue to present various content through AI-based video generation technology that streamlines traditional production processes.”

Flunit plans to launch the ‘Mimicon’ service, which allows users not only to create unique AI characters by setting their appearance and persona but also to generate real-time conversations with them.
