Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Conducts On-site Inspection of Salt Dock Library Mom Cafe Development

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, inspected the site of the Mom Cafe being created inside Sogeumnaru Library (72 Sungmun-gil, Mapo-gu) on the afternoon of January 13.

Mapo-gu is currently converting part of the basement level 1 of the vacant Sogeumnaru Library into an offline "Mom Cafe," a customized community space for mothers.

The approximately 65.94㎡ space will include a shared kitchen, reading and relaxation areas to promote information sharing and social interaction. Additionally, a karaoke booth for stress relief will also be installed.

After the inspection, Mayor Park Gang-su of Mapo-gu urged, "I hope the 'Mom Cafe' will be created with care so that it can become a space for communication and relaxation for mothers."
