Surpasses 900,000 Cumulative Overseas Sales in Thailand, Taiwan, the United States, and More
Chicken brand bhc's popular menu item ‘Bburinkle’ is gaining great popularity not only in Korea but also in overseas markets, establishing itself as a representative of K-chicken. ‘Bburinkle,’ sold in seven countries including Malaysia, Thailand, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, and Taiwan, has surpassed 900,000 units in cumulative overseas sales and is on the verge of reaching 1 million units.
First introduced in 2014, Bburinkle is a new-concept chicken featuring freshly fried chicken sprinkled with bhc’s self-developed cheese seasoning, enjoyed by dipping it into the sweet and tangy Bburing Bburing sauce. It received favorable reviews for creating a new category in the chicken market, which had been divided only into fried and seasoned chicken.
Among the various menus sold overseas, Bburinkle ranks number one in sales in all countries. It is regarded as a trendy chicken with a unique taste, and especially among customers in their 20s and 30s, word of mouth has spread rapidly, generating a hot response. In Thailand, special chicken parts seasoned with ‘Bburinkle’ seasoning, such as ▲Bburinkle Chicken Skin and ▲Bburinkle Chicken Joint, as well as spicy stir-fried noodles served with Bburinkle seasoning, have captivated local customers’ palates with their fresh and differentiated flavors. Additionally, in the U.S. market, it is very popular among young people and children. The ‘Bburinkle Sandwich’ has secured the number one sales spot and established itself as a signature menu, while ‘Bburinkle Chips’ are loved locally not only for their taste but also for their cost-effectiveness.
