Yangpyeong-gun, Recruiting 196 Plot Allocators for 'Yangpyeong-gun Public Community Garden'

Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Jeon Jin-seon) announced that it will recruit applicants for the 'Yangpyeong-gun Public Community Garden' from the 13th to the 24th.

The 'Yangpyeong-gun Public Community Garden' is a space created to provide residents with opportunities to experience eco-friendly farming activities in daily life, enhance understanding of agriculture, and pursue a healthy lifestyle.

This public garden application is divided into 'special allotment' for public institutions (organizations) such as local elementary schools, daycare centers, and kindergartens, and 'general allotment' for resident household heads. In particular, general allotment selections are prioritized for multicultural families, single-parent families, and families with three or more children.

The allotment size is 196 plots (approximately 17㎡ per plot), with a rental fee of 30,000 KRW per plot, and cultivation is allowed from April to November.

Jeon Jin-seon, Governor of Yangpyeong-gun, stated, "I hope that healthy family leisure culture will be established through farming activities in harmony with nature." He added, "I expect the public community garden to become a place for local residents to interact."
