IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 13th that it has launched the ‘Benefit Notifier Service’ for the first time among financial institutions on i-ONE Bank (Personal).

The ‘Benefit Notifier Service’ allows users to view and apply for benefits provided by the government, local governments, and public institutions that they and their family members are eligible for all at once. The service can be accessed after signing up for Government24 and agreeing to the service terms. By entering eligibility criteria, users can check and apply for personalized benefits. Additionally, with family service consent verification, users can also check family benefits.

With the introduction of the ‘Benefit Notifier’ service, the hassle of individually searching for public services that match the circumstances of oneself and family members to receive benefits is expected to be resolved.

Meanwhile, IBK plans to expand the service from about 1,100 public services related to youth, job seeking, childbirth, moving, etc. this year to about 3,600 by 2026. An IBK official stated, “Through this service, we will carefully inform the public in advance about government benefits they might be missing to ensure there are no welfare blind spots,” adding, “As a national policy bank, we will continue to strive to improve public welfare and fulfill our social responsibilities.”
