Pocheon City Offers 30% Automatic Discount on Gyeonggi Province Agricultural and Marine Products Purchases

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) is holding the 'Gyeonggi-do Agricultural and Marine Products Discount Coupon' event in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.

Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Agricultural and Marine Products Promotion Agency have allocated a budget of 25 billion KRW to implement the Gyeonggi-do Agricultural and Marine Products Discount Coupon support project to alleviate difficulties caused by rising prices of agricultural, livestock, and marine products and to promote consumption of these products within the province. A 30% discount is automatically applied to purchases of Gyeonggi-do agricultural and marine products, with a maximum support of 30,000 KRW per person per day.

Accordingly, the Gyeonggi Agricultural and Marine Products Promotion Agency is recruiting participating businesses such as large supermarkets, small and medium-sized supermarkets, and local food direct stores until the 16th. Once agreements with participating businesses are finalized, large supermarkets, local food direct stores, and eco-friendly stores will begin the first Lunar New Year promotional event from the 20th, while small and medium-sized supermarkets will conduct the event from the 22nd to the 31st.
