Celebrating its 55th anniversary this year, Heimtextil is the world's largest home textile exhibition where trends and technologies in the textile and interior fabric sectors can be experienced in one place. Last year, it was reported that 46,000 visitors from 130 countries attended.
Welcron will participate with booth A17 in Hall 11. Featuring its exclusive model Jung Hae-in, the company will showcase its premium functional bedding brand ‘Sesa’. In particular, Welcron plans to focus on introducing ‘Air Ice’, a contact cooling bedding product developed for the first time in Korea.
Air Ice uses cooling fabric made from materials with high thermal conductivity that immediately absorb the user's body heat upon contact, lowering the skin surface temperature. According to measurements taken with a thermal imaging camera from Welcron’s Technology Research Institute, the skin surface temperature dropped by approximately 7.8 degrees Celsius immediately after the fabric touched the skin. The cooling fabric features an ‘Air Tunnel’ inside that allows air to pass through, enabling the conducted heat to be discharged outside the bedding through the air tunnel.
At this exhibition, eco-friendly cooling fabrics using cotton or recycled materials will also be introduced for the first time, in line with the global eco-friendly trend.
A Welcron representative stated, “In a situation where it gets hotter every year due to global warming, Welcron’s contact cooling bedding Air Ice can contribute to creating a healthy and comfortable sleeping environment for people worldwide.”
