Hwang Unha: "Kim Seonghun Misjudged the Execution of the President's Warrant"

"Kim Seong-hoon, a Figure with a 'Cha Ji-cheol and Jang Se-dong Mindset'... Cause for Concern"

On the 10th, former Chief of Security Park Jong-jun, who was booked on charges of obstructing special official duties, resigned, and the Security Office shifted to a deputy chief system led by Kim Seong-hoon, considered a 'hardliner.' In this context, Hwang Un-ha, floor leader of the National Innovation Party, expressed concern, saying, "I am worried that he has an old-fashioned mindset like Cha Ji-cheol or Jang Se-dong."

On the 13th, during CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show,' Floor Leader Hwang said, "The first arrest warrant should have been executed, so I feel regretful," adding, "There are many worrying aspects, including national chaos, the fall of national prestige, and a significant negative impact on the economy."

According to Floor Leader Hwang, Deputy Chief Kim, regarded as a hardliner, has a style opposite to that of the resigned former Chief Park. He said, "Former Chief Park is a person ingrained with the rule of law," and added, "Although the Security Office obstructed the execution of the first arrest warrant, the directive from former Chief Park to the Security Office at that time was to never fight back and to remain non-responsive." On the other hand, Deputy Chief Kim and Security Headquarters Chief Lee Kwang-woo are described as highly authoritarian figures. He pointed out, "They have an old-fashioned mindset like Cha Ji-cheol or Jang Se-dong," and specifically criticized Deputy Chief Kim for misjudging the execution of the warrant.

There are claims that Deputy Chief Kim is part of the 'Kim Geon-hee and Kim Yong-hyun line.' Floor Leader Hwang confirmed this as an undeniable fact. He said, "Doesn't Mrs. Kim like events?" and added, "Deputy Chief Kim is known for absolute loyalty to his superiors and being good at organizing events. While serving as the head of the Planning and Management Office, he seemed to have gained great favor."

With the second arrest warrant issued on the 7th expected to be executed within this week, the presidential residence is under tight security. The police issued an arrest warrant for Deputy Chief Kim, who did not respond to three summonses, and also notified Security Headquarters Chief Lee Kwang-woo of a third summons, but both remain unresponsive. Amid this, there are claims that Deputy Chief Kim, acting as the interim head of the Security Office, has issued ultra-hardline directives to block the execution of President Yoon Seok-yeol's arrest warrant.

It is reported that on the 11th, President Yoon told security officials of grade 3 and above during a lunch meeting to consider the use of weapons during the execution of the second warrant. Regarding this, Floor Leader Hwang said, "It seems Deputy Chief Kim discussed in a meeting with officials about the specific use of force," adding, "Security Office staff know that obstructing a court-issued warrant is not within the scope of security duties, so they are unlikely to follow unjust orders."
