Baek Young-ok's Novel 'Shillyeondanghan Saramdeul...' Adapted into a Movie

Starring Suzy, Lee Jinwook, Yoo Jitae, and More

Author Baek Young-ok's novel 'Seven O'clock Breakfast Club for the Heartbroken' is being adapted into a film. Production company With Ace Studio announced on the 13th that filming began on the 29th of last month.

The story revolves around people participating in a breakfast club who share each other's pain and cope with breakups and heartbreak. Actors Suzy, Lee Jin-wook, Yoo Ji-tae, Geum Sae-rok, Miram, Jeon Hye-jin, Bae Jong-ok, Lee Sung-wook, Park Se-jin, Lee Ga-seop, and Jeon Seok-chan star in the film, delicately portraying stories about love, separation, and life.


The film is directed by Lim Sun-ae, who gained attention for the movies '69 Years Old' and 'Love at the End of the Century.' Management Soop and Wysiwyg Studios are participating as co-producers. The film is scheduled to be released in the second half of this year.
