Get Onnuri Gift Certificates When Purchasing Agricultural, Livestock, and Marine Products
at 12 Traditional Markets from the 23rd to the 27th
Daejeon City announced that it will hold the "Traditional Market Onnuri Gift Certificate Reimbursement Event" for five days from the 23rd to the 27th to boost consumption and revitalize the local economy during the Lunar New Year holiday.
The reimbursement event will take place at a total of 12 locations: Daejeon Shopping Center and Indong Market in Dong-gu, Shindo Market, Yongun Market, Gayang Market, Oryu Market, Yucheon Market, Sanseong Market, Yongdu Market in Jung-gu, Songgang Market in Yuseong-gu, and Beopdong Market and Shintanjin Market in Daedeok-gu.
During the event, customers who purchase agricultural, livestock, or marine products worth 34,000 won or more at the participating traditional markets will receive a 10,000 won Onnuri gift certificate; those who spend 67,000 won or more will receive 20,000 won, with a maximum reimbursement of 20,000 won per person.
The reimbursement counters at each market will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and participants must bring identification and their purchase receipts for verification.
Lim Seongbok, Director of Agricultural and Life Policy at Daejeon City, said, "We hope that citizens visiting traditional markets for the holiday will be able to purchase agricultural, livestock, and marine products at affordable prices through this event, and that it will bring vitality to the stagnant markets and the local economy."
