Actor Lee Yoon-hee, known as the "master of supporting roles," suddenly passed away at the age of 64.
On the 11th, her agency, Beom Entertainment, announced that Lee Yoon-hee died that morning. It was reported that she did not suffer from any chronic illnesses.
Born in 1960, she debuted in 1985 with the play "Gukmul Issaomnida" and gained significant attention for her role as "Elder Kang" in the 2007 film "Miryang." Afterwards, she brought vitality to various films with her distinctive performances, including "King of Flattery" (2012), "Secret Investigation" (2015), and "A Special Citizen" (2017).
She was also recognized for her "supporting role" performances in major dramas such as "Save Me 2" (2019), "Black Dog" (2019), "Backstreet Rookie" (2020), "Taxi Driver" (2021), "More Than Friends" (2020), "The Killer's Shopping List" (2022), "The Sound of a Sword" (2023), "Seonsan" (2024), and "Sejak, the Enchanted" (2024).
The funeral hall has been set up at Ulsan Hospital Funeral Hall. The funeral procession will take place at 8 a.m. on the 13th, and the burial site will be Ulsan Sky Park.
