Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, Congratulates 56 Graduates of Hanguk Ujin School

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the graduation ceremony of Hanguk Woojin School on the morning of January 10th to congratulate and encourage the 56 students graduating in the 2024 academic year.


Hanguk Woojin School (Principal Kim Eun-sook) is a national special school established in January 2000 in Jung-dong, Mapo District, for the education of students with physical disabilities. This year, it produced graduates including 4 kindergarteners, 16 elementary school students, 13 middle school students, 12 high school students, and 11 students in the specialized course.


At the graduation ceremony, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, awarded certificates of commendation to exemplary students and students who contributed to disabled sports.


He then said, "I sincerely congratulate all the Woojin School students on their graduation," and added, "We will continue to support the students entering society so that they can live confidently without giving up."


He also expressed gratitude to the teachers and parents who lovingly guided the students to complete their studies and graduate safely.


Finally, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, emphasized, "Mapo District believes that a society where people with disabilities are happy is an advanced society, and we will do our best to promote welfare policies for people with disabilities."
