For Small-scale Multi-family Housing Over 10 Years Old Since Use Approval
Applications Accepted Until February 13... Up to 25 Million KRW Per Complex
Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) is implementing the ‘2025 Small-scale Multi-family Housing Support Project’ to improve the poor living conditions and quality of life of residents in aging small-scale multi-family housing.
According to Namyangju City on the 10th, the Small-scale Multi-family Housing Support Project is a program that supports maintenance and repair costs for common areas such as rooftop waterproofing, painting, and parking lot repairs for ‘small-scale multi-family housing that has passed 10 years since its use approval.’ It was planned to create a safe and pleasant living environment.
The support targets are multi-family houses and row houses that have received building permits according to the Building Act.
The support includes △ waterproofing and maintenance of common areas such as rooftops △ repair of roads, sidewalks, and security lights within the complex △ street environment improvement projects such as demolishing fences △ safety measures for outdoor facilities (stone retaining walls, retaining walls, fences, etc.) where safety accidents are a concern.
The city has invested a total budget of 500 million KRW for the project, supporting up to 25 million KRW per complex. In particular, for outdoor facilities requiring urgent safety measures, support of up to 50 million KRW is possible.
Applications are open from the 13th to February 13th. Applicants must prepare the required documents and visit the Building Management Division to submit their applications.
Namyangju City plans to select support recipients through document screening, on-site investigation, and review. Detailed information can be found on the Namyangju City website’s Notices and Announcements board.
Mayor Joo Gwang-deok of Namyangju City said, “Small-scale multi-family housing often lacks dedicated managers and struggles with self-funded maintenance, making upkeep vulnerable. We will continue to provide ongoing support and efforts to prevent safety accidents and improve living conditions in aging small-scale multi-family housing.”
