Polyphenol Factory announced on the 10th that it received proposals from over 50 global and Korean venture capital investors at 'CES 2025,' the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA.
Gravity Shampoo is a high-performance hair care brand developed by KAIST Distinguished Professor Lee Haeshin and young scientists. Gravity is gaining attention as a KAIST technology-based hair loss care solution. About 20,000 visitors visited the booth, and the prepared samples were sold out early, showing great popularity.
Visitors praised the immediate effects of increased hair thickness and strength while experiencing the polyphenol polymer technology of 'LiftMax 308™,' a KAIST patented ingredient.
Gravity Shampoo has been clinically proven to increase hair volume by 40.42% with just one use, increase the thickness of a single hair strand by 6.27%, and reduce hair loss by 70.18% after two weeks of use. Through CES 2025, it successfully debuted on the international stage and plans to expand aggressively into the North American market, starting with a launch on Amazon in the United States.
At the event, Polyphenol Factory received love calls from over 50 global and Korean venture capital and investment firms, including Silicon Valley’s PLUG&PLAY, recognizing the brand’s growth potential. PLUG&PLAY is a global accelerator and venture capital firm famous for early investments in unicorn companies such as PayPal and Dropbox. It invests in more than 200 companies annually. PLUG&PLAY showed deep interest in Gravity’s polyphenol core technology and its continuous growth potential.
Lee Haeshin, KAIST Distinguished Professor of Chemistry and CEO of Polyphenol Factory, said, “At CES 2025, where companies with strong core technologies gathered, we confirmed the direction Korean beauty tech companies should take. Based on science-driven innovation, we will widely promote Korea’s technological capabilities in the global market and achieve sustainable growth.”
Based on the success at CES 2025, Polyphenol Factory will officially launch on Amazon in the United States next month.
