Five Fields Including Forest Fire Prevention and Forest Pest Control
Yeongju City (Mayor Park Nam-seo) announced on the 10th that it will recruit 111 workers in the forestry-related fields for the 2025 fiscal year financial support job project.
The recruitment fields are △Forest fire prevention and suppression (78 people) △Forest pests and diseases (13 people) △Forest disasters (7 people) △Public forest management (8 people) △Forest service assistants (5 people), selecting a total of 5 fields.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Forestry Division of Yeongju City Hall or by registered mail from the 13th to 17th until 6 p.m. After receiving the application, practical tests such as interviews, physical fitness tests, and machinery and equipment proficiency tests will be conducted according to the required field.
Selected workers will perform roles in each field such as forest fire monitoring and prevention, investigation and control of forest pests and diseases, survey of planned forest management sites, provision of forest trail services, prevention of forest damage, and restoration of damage.
Applicants must be residents of Yeongju City who are at least 18 years old and physically healthy, and meet the qualification requirements for each recruitment field. Detailed information for each recruitment field can be found on the recruitment announcement section of the Yeongju City Hall website or the Ilmoa system.
A city official said, “Through this recruitment, we expect to cultivate professional personnel in the forestry field and contribute to creating local jobs and revitalizing the economy.”
