A wildfire that broke out in Los Angeles (LA), USA, has spread to Hollywood. Not only did famous actors hurriedly evacuate to escape the flames, but some actors' expensive mansions were completely destroyed by the fire.

On the 9th (local time), the overseas entertainment media outlet 'Rolling Stones' reported that an evacuation order was issued in the Southern California area, where Hollywood actors and other celebrities mainly reside. As a result, celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Billy Corgan from the band Smashing Pumpkins, and Mark Hamill, who played the lead role in the movie 'Star Wars,' had to evacuate urgently.

The stars also shared their situations through personal social networking services (SNS) like Instagram. Mark Hamill said on Instagram, "I left my house in Malibu and evacuated to my daughter's house," adding, "This is the worst fire since 1993. I hope everyone stays safe."

Oscar-winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis posted a photo of a burning building, saying, "My community, my home is burning." However, she added, "Still, my family is safe," and requested, "Please share the current situation. Also, thank you to the firefighters and kind neighbors."

Chris Pratt, the lead actor in the Marvel movie 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' also asked, "Please send prayers and strength to the people of LA affected by this devastating fire tonight." Pop star Billie Eilish shared the news of the fire as well, expressing, "What is happening in LA right now is so scary."

This fire has hit Malibu, one of the representative affluent neighborhoods in the United States. Malibu is a residential area located on the California coast, famous for its celebrity villas and large mansions. Because of this, there are concerns that the damage costs insurers will have to pay could reach astronomical levels.

The Hollywood filming sites, known as the 'holy ground' of the American film and TV industry, were also largely shut down. According to AP News, Universal Studios Hollywood theme park closed due to strong winds and smoke, and filming of popular drama series such as 'Hacks,' 'Ted Lasso,' and 'Suits LA' was canceled. The Walt Disney Company temporarily closed its headquarters in Burbank and postponed drama production. The schedules of famous talk shows recorded in Hollywood were also canceled one after another.
