Obigo, a specialized company in smart car software (SW) platforms, announced on the 10th that it participated in CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2025 together with Hyundai Mobis. CES is the world's largest IT (Information Technology) and home appliance exhibition, held from the 7th to the 10th of this month (local time) in Las Vegas, USA.
At this event, Obigo showcased services based on its in-vehicle browser, including △video conferencing △game platform △Pick Now services. Among these, the bookmark-based recommendation service ‘Pick Now’ provides the most frequently used functions in vehicles and personalized services based on users’ interests.
It maximizes user convenience through a Floating Action Button and features support for various customization services according to individual preferences.
Obigo plans to continuously secure new services based on its vehicle platform to expand its market share. Additionally, through ongoing collaboration with Hyundai Mobis, it aims to promote next-generation vehicle software technologies and software-defined vehicle (SDV) services to the global market.
Obigo CEO Hwang Do-yeon emphasized, “We plan to promote the expansion of the SDV service ecosystem in cooperation with Hyundai Mobis,” adding, “We will create new value inside vehicles by providing user-centered SDV services in the future.”
Meanwhile, Obigo plans to introduce an SDV platform specialized in user-customized services through research and development (R&D) investments.
