The lecture was based on the book "Era Forecast, Homyeong Society" by big data expert Song Kilyoung, and was conducted under the theme of "Changes in the Digital Era and New Directions in Education." Song explained the advent of the "Homyeong Society," an era where individual names and identities are emphasized in the digital age, and took time to deeply reflect on how parents should define their roles and set educational directions for their children.

He especially stressed that in the coming future society, not only children but all individuals, including parents, need the power to discover their unique talents and preferences, have the courage not to fear new attempts, and value their own names. He also advised that parents should focus on supporting their children's self-identity formation and creative thinking.

One parent who attended the lecture said, "It was an opportunity to concretely think about the appropriate direction for education in the digital era," adding, "I want to apply what I learned from this special lecture to educating my child in this changing era."

Jo Kwangmoon, head of the Digital AI Education Center at National Mokpo University and leader of the LEAD (Leading Educators of AI and Digital) project group, which is carrying out the 2024 Visiting School Consulting Project, said, "We will provide various programs to help parents better understand the era of digital-based classes and actively participate in their children's education," and added, "We will spare no effort in supporting parents so they can smoothly adapt to the educational environment changes brought by digital transformation."

Meanwhile, the "2024 Visiting School Consulting" project was designed to lead the educational culture of the digital AI era for teachers, students, and parents at elementary, middle, and high schools nationwide, and currently, about 3,000 schools across the country are participating. National Mokpo University plans to continue operating a variety of programs and lectures so that the educational community, including parents and teachers, can adapt to and develop with the changes of the digital era.
