On the 9th, Lee Dong-hwan, Mayor of Goyang Special City, attended the '2025 Goyang Special City Economic Organizations New Year's Meeting' held at Sono Calm.

This annual event, jointly hosted by the Goyang Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Goyang City Enterprises and Business Association, was especially meaningful as it aimed to unify economic organizations.

About 250 people, including Lee Dong-hwan, Mayor of Goyang Special City, the Chairperson of the Goyang Special City Council, members of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly, Goyang Special City Council members, and representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, attended the event to reaffirm their determination to overcome the economic crisis and achieve a new leap forward.

Lee Sang-heon, President of the Goyang Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Goyang City Enterprises and Business Association, stated, "If businesspeople unite with one heart and effort amid the ongoing economic crisis, we can overcome the difficulties."

Mayor Lee Dong-hwan of Goyang Special City said, "This year, we will do our utmost to secure the final designation of the Goyang Economic Free Zone, which will serve as a foundation for corporate development," and urged, "I ask businesspeople to join forces to achieve good results."
