Daishin Securities maintained a 'Buy' investment rating and a target price of 80,000 won for Shift Up on the 10th, stating that the company's operating profit in the fourth quarter of last year is expected to exceed market expectations.
Ji-eun Lee, a researcher at Daishin Securities, explained, "It is estimated that sales reached 56.5 billion won and operating profit 42.3 billion won in the fourth quarter of last year," adding, "This represents an increase of 23% and 31%, respectively, compared to the same period last year."
She continued, "Sales of 'Goddess of Victory: NIKKE' are estimated at 47.9 billion won, a 6% increase compared to the same period last year," and added, "Due to the effect of the 2nd anniversary update and the strong dollar, sales likely increased by 40% compared to the previous quarter."
The researcher analyzed, "Pre-orders for 'Goddess of Victory: NIKKE' began in China starting yesterday," and "The release date is expected in the second quarter of this year." She emphasized, "Average daily sales after release are estimated at about 800 million won," and "The Steam release of Stella Blade is also anticipated in the second quarter."
She forecasted, "Following strong performance in the fourth quarter, the stock price will reflect expectations for two new titles in the second quarter of this year."
