Stunning Value Research forecasted on the 10th that sales of OM-Y, a robot applying Robotiq's own actuator, will occur this year. No investment opinion or target price was presented.

Robotiq was established in 1999. It is a robot specialized company developing actuators and reducers in-house. It provides customized collaborative robots and various autonomous driving robot service construction solutions. Autonomous driving robots are planned and promoted as a new growth engine business.

In October last year, Robotiq unveiled the customized unmanned collaborative robot 'Open Manipulator-Y' (OM-Y) applying its actuator Dynamixel-Y at RoboWorld.

Namgung Jun, a researcher at Stunning Value Research, explained, "This product is expected to apply Physical AI jointly developed with MIT through an international joint research and development (R&D) project call since last year. We are currently preparing to supply to a U.S. company and expect to launch it early this year, with sales estimated to start from the second quarter."

At the same time, entry into the Japanese market is also becoming visible. He said, "On the 8th of this month, we signed an exclusive supply contract for logistics delivery robots with Sensid Robotics in Japan. Robotiq will supply the logistics delivery robot Ant to Sensid Robotics."
