All Job Information at Once... Yeongdeungpo-gu Operates Integrated Job Support Center

From January 1, the 'Integrated Job Support Center' Newly Operated... Providing Public and Private Job Information, Job Counseling and Connection, Operating Convenience Spaces for Job Seekers... Jobs Are the Best Welfare and the Starting Point of Urban Development

Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it will operate an "Integrated Job Support Center" to comprehensively provide job information and employment support services encompassing both public and private sectors.

Providing job information is the first step in job projects. According to a 2023 announcement by the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, 6 out of 10 young job seekers reported difficulties in obtaining information about the jobs they wish to apply for.

The district will address these difficulties faced by job seekers and provide various employment information by newly operating the "Integrated Job Support Center." This reflects the district’s commitment to job creation and employment support, recognizing that jobs are the best welfare and the starting point for urban development.

Job Counseling Room

The "Integrated Job Support Center," which opened on the 1st of this month, is located on the 2nd floor of Woori Bank in front of the district office. To provide diverse and detailed job information tailored to job seekers’ needs, the latest employment trends, and enhanced job-seeking capability services, the previously operated "Yeongdeungpo-gu Job Plus Center" has been renovated. Additionally, a newly formed "Job Center Team" is stationed to ensure the smooth operation of the "Integrated Job Support Center."

The newly designed "Integrated Job Support Center" offers a variety of employment support services in a space expanded to 188㎡ (approximately 57 pyeong). Job seekers can easily check public and private job information in one place and receive one-on-one customized job counseling and employment linkage. Convenience spaces such as a cafe-style rest area and meeting rooms are also provided for job seekers, allowing them to continue their job search activities in a comfortable environment.

Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, stated, “As Yeongdeungpo, which has ranked first in employment rate among Seoul’s autonomous districts for three consecutive times, we will implement various employment support policies to quench the thirst for jobs in the new year.
