All-in-One Citizen Support Policies... Benefits Galore for Residents of Cheongdo

Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, is making multifaceted efforts to ensure that no one is left out of the county’s policies and to provide an easy overview of the policies implemented by the county.

On the 9th, Cheongdo-gun announced that it has produced and distributed the “Cheongdo-gun Moving-in Benefits Guide Leaflet,” which clearly summarizes support policies for youth, returnees to farming and rural areas, and newlyweds preparing for pregnancy and childbirth.

This leaflet systematically organizes the main contents, eligibility criteria, and contact numbers for four areas of support projects and benefits?youth, returnees to farming and rural areas, pregnancy, and childbirth?so that eligible individuals can apply without missing out.

In particular, Cheongdo-gun is also promoting a comprehensive support policy that provides up to 230 million KRW per person throughout their life cycle?from birth in Cheongdo to university and marriage.

The leaflet is available at nine town and township offices, health centers, and related affiliated institutions to ensure easy access for residents.

Kim Hasu, the mayor of Cheongdo-gun, said, “Cheongdo-gun is establishing itself as the number one destination for returnees to farming and rural areas, creating a city good for raising children and a city where youth can take on challenges. We are implementing various policies to improve living conditions and make Cheongdo a better place to live.” He added, “Through this leaflet, which makes various policies easy to see at a glance, we hope that residents who move to Cheongdo-gun will not miss out on benefits and fully enjoy them.”
