The Dream Start project is a child welfare program targeting children aged 0 to 12 from vulnerable families, aimed at early detection of crisis situations and providing customized integrated services such as health, nutrition, education, and culture.

Through this, it aims to support the growth and development of children and ensure fair starting opportunities.

Last year, Namyangju City managed cases of 321 children and provided 25 customized services to a cumulative total of 1,926 children.

This year’s project plans to focus on expanding holistic growth support services for infants and toddlers, strengthening job experience programs, enhancing parenting capabilities, and reinforcing the discovery and management system of local resources to support the healthy growth of children from vulnerable groups.

Mayor Joo Gwang-deok said, “This year as well, we will establish practical support and a meticulous welfare system so that all children in Namyangju City can grow up happily,” adding, “We will continuously develop various programs for the healthy future of children.”
