Sales Figures Increase by Over 40% Compared to Last Year
Steeping Tea at Appropriate Time and Temperature According to Ingredients
Hurom announced on the 9th that sales of the Tea Master during the fall and winter season, from last November to the 7th of this month, increased by more than 40% compared to the previous year.
Significant sales growth was observed on online malls led by Hurom’s official mall, Coupang, and Naver Smart Store. In the case of Coupang, sales increased by more than 54% compared to the previous year.
The Tea Master is programmed with herbal medicinal tea, leaf and fruit tea, and grain tea, allowing tea to be brewed at the appropriate time and temperature depending on the ingredients. It is a product that enables convenient preparation of tea optimized for taste, nutrition, concentration, and aroma.
In addition to the existing infusion-style tea extraction, a filtration extraction function has been added, allowing users to enjoy drip coffee along with tea according to their preference. When ground coffee is placed in the coffee dripper and the drip coffee menu is selected, water spreads evenly through the center of the coffee grounds for uniform absorption.
Furthermore, with 100-degree rapid heating and a My Menu button, users can heat or brew tea at their desired temperature and time. Once the tea or coffee is ready, it can be kept warm for up to 12 hours at temperatures ranging from 40 to 70 degrees Celsius, making it also usable as a baby formula warmer.
Premium materials such as heat-resistant glass from Germany’s Schott, temperature controllers from the UK’s Strix, non-toxic silicone from the US’s Dow, and stainless steel from Korea’s POSCO are applied, boasting strong durability.
A Hurom representative explained, “The Tea Master has established itself as a must-have home appliance for the fall and winter season, as it allows users to enjoy nutritious tea and coffee together.”
