The Public Investigation Division 3 of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Kim Tae-hoon) conducted a search and seizure of the offices of individuals involved in the THAAD base military secret leak case on the morning of the 9th.
The prosecution sent about 10 people, including prosecutors and investigators, to the Jinbat Peace Church tent near the village hall of Soseong-ri, Seongju-gun, Gyeongbuk, which is the protest site against the THAAD base, and began the search and seizure around 8:20 a.m. that day.
This case was referred to the Supreme Prosecutors' Office by the Board of Audit and Inspection last October regarding delays in the environmental impact assessment.
The prosecution is reported to have seized one mobile phone and notebooks from a member of the anti-THAAD group.
