Yeongju City to Continue Operating 'Monday Night Civil Service Office' This Year

Every week from 6 to 8 PM, providing convenience for office workers, students, and other citizens

Yeongju City in Gyeongbuk Province will extend the operation of the city hall civil service office until 8 PM every Monday this year (excluding legal holidays) for office workers and students who find it difficult to visit during working hours.

At the 'Monday Night Civil Service Office,' services such as △passport applications △issuance of resident registration certificates and extracts △issuance of seal certificates △registration of birth, death, and marriage reports are available, allowing citizens to conveniently obtain civil documents after work hours instead of during busy daytime hours.

In particular, all passport-related services, including application and receipt, are available, which is expected to receive a positive response from citizens who find it difficult to make time during weekday daytime hours.

To apply for a passport, bring your ID card, one passport photo taken within the last six months, and your valid existing passport to Window No. 5 at the Yeongju City Hall General Civil Service Office.

Kwon Myeong-ok, head of the Saemaeul Volunteer Division, said, “We are pleased to continue operating the night civil service office this year, contributing to the convenience of citizens,” and added, “We will actively strive to provide customized civil services centered on the needs of users.”

The operation of the night civil service office is a representative civil service that enhances accessibility for citizens who find it difficult to visit during weekday daytime hours and plays an important role in improving the daily convenience of Yeongju citizens.
